|
Coastal Serenity & Village Life Ride 🌊🚴♂️
Rise early to greet the day as you settle into the coastal rhythm. Your bike will follow serene, traffic-light local roads weaving from one pristine beach to the next, each stretch revealing stunning seascapes bathed in morning light. This route offers a vivid glimpse into traditional Thai life—pedaling through quaint fishing villages alive with the aroma of fresh seafood, vibrant markets, and ancient temples inviting peaceful pauses for rest and refreshments.
The scenery shifts beautifully with lush mangrove forests and sprawling fruit orchards lining the way, adding rich layers of color and texture to this picturesque journey. |
|
Day 3: CHAOLAO BEACH- PONG NAM RONG
|
Fruitful Rides & Mountain Challenges 🍍🚵♂️
Today’s journey stretches over 80 km, weaving through Chantaburi Province’s lush landscapes where fertile orchards and vibrant forests come alive along quiet country roads. You’ll pedal past rows of fruit plantations bursting with seasonal treasures, mingling with welcoming local villages that reflect the region’s rich agricultural heritage.
As you venture deeper inland, the scenery gradually shifts from coastal charm to the serenity of forested hills and distant mountain silhouettes. The final 17 km bring steadier climbs on a livelier road, testing your legs but promising a rewarding finish.
Upon arrival in Pong Nam Ron, unwind beside the hotel’s sparkling pool, savoring a well-deserved cold beer as you gaze over a lush golf course framed by forested mountains—perfect to soothe tired muscles after a fulfilling day on the saddle.
|
|
Day 4: PONG NAM RONG- PAILIN ( CAMBODIA)
|
Cycling to Pailin via the Thai–Cambodian Border 🚴♀️🌄
This morning’s ride leads you eastward along quiet, lesser-travelled backroads, away from the bustle of modern Thailand and towards a more rustic world. The road winds gently through sleepy rural villages, eventually guiding you to a remote border crossing nestled at the foot of the lush, emerald-cloaked Cardamom Mountains.
As you step across the threshold into Cambodia, the contrast is instant and vivid. Smooth Thai tarmac abruptly becomes dusty red earth, and the sturdy concrete homes give way to simple wooden stilt houses with thatched roofs swaying in the breeze. The scenery feels like a step back in time.
After 20 km of cycling through the sunbaked countryside, you arrive in Pailin — a once-bustling frontier town, famous for its precious gem mines and known for harboring former Khmer Rouge officials. Now, it exudes a faded charm: slow-paced, a little dusty, but undeniably rich in stories.
|
|
Day 5: PAILIN- BATTAMBANG
|
Cycling to Battambang via Phnom Sampeau 🚴♀️🌾
Today’s ride takes you across the heart of western Cambodia, following a smooth tarmac road all the way to the outskirts of Battambang. The morning starts with a few steady climbs, but the road gently slopes downward for most of the day — though you’ll likely be too busy dodging cavernous potholes and admiring the landscape to notice!
The journey begins through vast agricultural zones where golden cornfields, cassava plantations, and cashew orchards stretch to the horizon. As the terrain flattens, these give way to an ocean of vibrant green rice paddies that shimmer beneath the midday sun, signaling your gradual approach to Battambang.
Along the way, you pass through a patchwork of quiet villages shaded by tamarind trees and lined with rustic wooden homes on stilts. These peaceful hamlets are ideal spots to pause, catch your breath, and share a laugh or smile with the curious and warm-hearted locals.
About 15 km before reaching town, the dramatic limestone bluff of Phnom Sampeau rises abruptly from the plains, crowned by a gleaming hilltop pagoda. If you're up for an extra adventure, a climb of 700+ steps will reward you with sweeping views of the countryside below — a fitting finale to a rich day of discovery.
By late afternoon, you roll into Battambang, a charming riverside town set along the Sangker River. Its relaxed atmosphere, colonial architecture, and tree-lined streets offer a gentle end to your day’s journey and a pleasant setting for your evening meal.
|
|
Day 6: BOAT TRIP FROM BATTAMBANG –SIEMREAP (or by bus)
|
Boat Journey Across Tonle Sap to Siem Reap 🚤🌊
Today begins with an early morning drive through the tranquil streets of Battambang, where sleepy markets and saffron-robed monks greet the rising sun. Our destination: the boat pier, where we embark on one of Cambodia’s most captivating river journeys.
The ride to Siem Reap takes approximately 6–7 hours, tracing a winding path through timeless landscapes and remote riverside communities. (Note: During dry season or periods of low water, this route may be substituted with a road transfer.)
As we leave the Sangker River and glide toward the mighty Tonle Sap Lake — Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake — the scenery gradually unfolds: dense mangroves, floating gardens, and fishermen casting nets from slender wooden boats. Life here moves with the rhythm of the water, seemingly untouched by time.
Midway through the voyage, we pass Prek Toal, a renowned protected wetland and a vital breeding sanctuary for rare and endangered waterbirds. Keep your eyes open — you might catch a glimpse of the majestic spot-billed pelican or a soaring Oriental darter.
Crossing the open waters of the Tonle Sap feels like sailing an inland sea. As we near Siem Reap, the floating village of Chong Khneas appears on the horizon — a surreal, floating world of bamboo houses, floating gas stations, bobbing schools, and even karaoke bars drifting on the waves.
At the Siem Reap pier, a waiting van transfers us to the hotel. After settling in, there’s time to stretch your legs and take a relaxed stroll around town — perhaps with a cold Angkor Beer in hand to toast the day’s unforgettable journey.
|
|
Day 7: EXPLORE THE ANGKOR TEMPLE BY BIKE
|
Cycling the Small Circuit – Temples of Angkor 🚴♂️🛕
Your first morning in Siem Reap begins with an exciting ride into the heart of ancient Khmer civilization. After breakfast, we set off on bicycles to explore the famed Small Circuit, a route that unveils some of Angkor’s most iconic and awe-inspiring temples.
We start with the pyramid of Takeo, an unfinished sandstone temple that rises steeply toward the sky — a silent testament to the ambition of the Khmer Empire. From there, we cycle beneath towering trees to Ta Prohm, the legendary temple engulfed by giant fig roots. Left in much the same condition as it was discovered, Ta Prohm’s eerie beauty earned it a starring role in Tomb Raider.
Our journey continues to Sras Srang, once the royal bathing pool, where the tranquil waters reflect the centuries-old stone steps and surrounding jungle. Then, we venture into Angkor Thom, the last great capital of the Khmer Empire. Enclosed by towering walls and a wide moat, this vast city includes the enigmatic Bayon Temple, with its 54 towers topped by over 200 smiling stone faces.
After lunch and a short rest, we cycle to the crown jewel of Cambodia — Angkor Wat. With its soaring towers and intricate bas-reliefs, this grand structure is the largest religious monument in the world. As the afternoon light warms the temple’s golden stone, it’s easy to understand why Angkor Wat is revered as a national symbol.
In the evening, we gather for a traditional Khmer dinner accompanied by a captivating Apsara dance performance, where graceful hand gestures and shimmering silk costumes bring ancient myths to life.

|
Day 8: SIEMREAP- BANTEAY SREI- SIEMREAP
|
Cycling to Banteay Srei – The Jewel of Angkor 🚴♀️🌾
This morning, we saddle up and cycle northward into the heart of rural Cambodia, bound for one of Angkor’s most enchanting temples — Banteay Srei. The ride offers a perfect blend of culture and scenery, taking you along peaceful country roads flanked by rice paddies, lotus ponds, and sugar palm trees swaying in the breeze.
As we journey through this serene landscape, we pause at a few traditional villages where life moves slowly under the shade of mango trees. Here, wooden stilt houses perch above the earth, and children wave as we pass by. Keep an eye out for the large black cauldrons bubbling in front yards — this region is known for its palm sugar sweets, cooked the old-fashioned way and offering a delicious, energy-boosting treat for passing cyclists.
Soon, we arrive at Banteay Srei, often called “the jewel of Khmer art.” Unlike the grand scale of Angkor Wat, this temple captivates with its intimate size and extraordinary detail. Every surface is covered with intricate carvings — delicate floral patterns and vivid scenes from the Ramayana, all etched into rose-hued sandstone that glows in the morning sun.
After soaking in the beauty of Banteay Srei, we enjoy a traditional lunch at a local eatery. In the afternoon, we begin the return ride toward Siem Reap, with the option to stop and explore a few lesser-known temples along the way, depending on time and energy levels.
Once back at the hotel, the evening is yours to unwind or dive into Siem Reap’s vibrant nightlife — a dynamic mix of street food stalls, stylish cafes, lively bars, and markets humming with energy.
|
|
Day 9: SIEMREAP- PHNOMPENH ( BY BUS)
|
Journey to Phnom Penh – Cambodia’s Cultural Heart 🚌👑
Today offers a slower pace as we trade our bikes for comfort, beginning the day with a scenic transfer by private bus to Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s vibrant capital. The journey takes approximately four hours, unfolding across changing landscapes — from tranquil villages to bustling towns, all set against a backdrop of open skies and rice fields.
Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, we enjoy a leisurely lunch before setting off on an afternoon city tour steeped in history and grandeur.
Our first stop is the Royal Palace, a gleaming complex of golden spires and manicured gardens that still serves as the residence of Cambodia’s royal family. Within its grounds lies the Silver Pagoda, named for the more than 5,000 shimmering silver tiles that line its floor — home to dazzling treasures, including a life-sized Buddha crafted from solid gold and adorned with thousands of diamonds.
Next, we step into the National Museum, housed in a striking terracotta building that is a masterpiece in itself. Here, we delve into Cambodia’s rich artistic heritage, viewing a world-class collection of Khmer sculpture, ancient ceramics, and sacred relics.
As the sun dips low over the city, we check into our hotel. The evening is yours to relax or enjoy Phnom Penh’s laid-back charm, with riverside cafés, lively markets, and soft jazz floating from colonial-era balconies.
|
|
Day 10: PHNOMPENH- TAKEO
|
Cycling to Takeo – Echoes of the Past, Voices of Today 🚴♀️🌾
Our day begins with a somber yet essential visit to two of Cambodia’s most haunting historical sites. First, we explore Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), once a school turned prison during the Khmer Rouge regime. The quiet corridors and stark cells tell a story that words can barely contain.
From there, we continue to Choeung Ek – The Killing Fields, where mass graves and a memorial stupa stand as powerful reminders of Cambodia’s darkest chapter. This emotional journey helps us better understand the resilience of the Cambodian people and the importance of remembrance.
After a reflective lunch, we board our bus and transfer out of the city to begin the afternoon’s cycling adventure.
Our bikes await on the outskirts, and from here we pedal along a peaceful dirt road, firm and rideable, leading us into Cambodia’s pastoral heartland. The route winds through scattered villages and endless rice paddies, where the pace of life is slow and smiles are wide. Expect cheerful greetings of “Chamreap Suor!” from curious schoolchildren who line the roadside, waving as we pass.
The final stretch brings us into Takeo, a quiet border town not far from Vietnam. Here, we settle into a simple yet welcoming guesthouse, where dinner is served and stories are shared under the stars.
|
|
Day 11: TAKEO- CHAU DOC( VIETNAM)
|
Cycling to Chau Doc – Crossing Borders and Embracing New Horizons 🚴♂️🌾
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we set off on an exciting cycling journey of 75 km that will take us to the inland border between Cambodia and Vietnam. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the everyday rhythms of rural Cambodian life — passing through vibrant villages where locals tend to their fields and children greet us with warm smiles.
Crossing the border, the landscape begins to shift dramatically. Cambodia’s rustic charm gives way to the lush, verdant rice paddies of Vietnam, stretching endlessly under the bright sky. The fresh, green fields welcome us as we continue cycling alongside the borderline.
We pause for lunch before embarking on the final 30 km ride to Chau Doc, a bustling border town known for its colorful markets and lively atmosphere — once a hotspot for smuggling, now a fascinating melting pot of cultures.
We rest for the night at the comfortable Victoria Nui Sam Lodge, where you can relax and soak in the unique riverside charm.
|
|
Day 12: CHAU DOC- LONG XUYEN
|
Exploring Mekong’s Floating Villages & Cycling Through History 🚴♂️🚤
After breakfast, we embark on a peaceful boat ride along the upper Mekong River to visit the fascinating floating houses. Beneath these stilted homes, you’ll spot schools of catfish, red snappers, and other fish species thriving in the calm waters — a remarkable glimpse into a way of life perfectly in tune with the river.
Our journey continues by boat to a vibrant Cham village, home to around 12,000 people. Here, traditional crafts come alive as villagers skillfully weave sarongs, hats, and more — preserving centuries-old techniques handed down through generations. We take a moment to visit the local mosques, where Cham Muslims pray and children learn Arabic, reflecting a deep cultural heritage.
Back on land, we hop on our bikes and pedal along tranquil country roads from Chau Doc toward the lush Tra Su forest — a sanctuary of nature’s beauty. Our ride then leads us to Ba Chuc, a solemn site known as the Vietnamese killing fields, where over 3,000 lives were lost under Pol Pot’s regime in 1978. We pause here to reflect and understand this tragic chapter of history.
The day’s cycling finishes in Tri Ton, where we board a bus and transfer to Long Xuyen for a restful evening.
|
|
DAY 13: LONG XUYEN – CAN THO
|
Cycling Along Canals to Can Tho – Embracing Village Life & Nature 🚴♂️🌿
A short transfer helps us skip the morning traffic and brings us to the starting point for today’s ride. We pedal along narrow, peaceful roads winding beside shimmering canals, where everyday life unfolds gently on the water’s edge.
Our first stop is the Bird Sanctuary, a tranquil refuge where a variety of vibrant bird species gather, offering a perfect moment to connect with nature.
Back on the bike, we follow quiet concrete lanes through friendly villages, greeted by warm smiles and waves from locals going about their daily routines.
Lunch is served at a cozy local restaurant, where you can savor authentic flavors before continuing the ride to Can Tho — the vibrant heart of the Mekong Delta.
Tonight, we rest comfortably at the elegant Victoria Can Tho Hotel, soaking in the riverside atmosphere.

Once ashore, we cycle along narrow concrete paths winding through endless coconut gardens. Here, you’ll have the perfect chance to savor the freshest coconut water imaginable — just moments from tree to table, a refreshing taste of the tropics.
After a well-earned break, we continue our ride along quiet country roads, crossing several local bike-only ferries that connect the patchwork of islands and canals.
Reaching the main road, we hop on the bus and head to a nearby restaurant for a delicious lunch.
From here, it’s a one-and-a-half-hour transfer to bustling Ho Chi Minh City, the final destination of our journey. Upon arrival, the team will drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.
