Before crossing at the Tay Tran border, our pre-arranged visas will be carefully checked by border officials. Due to rough road conditions and frequent large trucks, we then take a one-hour transfer to Dien Bien Phu, the historic provincial capital known throughout Vietnam for its significant battles and the decisive victory over French colonial forces.
Here, we dive into the past with visits to the museum and the iconic victory monument, gaining deeper insight into the First Indochina War—a turning point that briefly freed Vietnam from French rule. DAY 16: SON LA- MOC CHAU

A Scenic Journey to Halong Bay and a Day on the Water 🚐🌅🚢
After a leisurely breakfast, we embark on a comfortable 3-hour van transfer toward the stunning Halong Bay. Upon arrival at the port, the crew of the Aqua of the Sea Junk warmly welcomes you aboard. After check-in and registration, our cruise adventure begins.
