Your adventure begins in Nakhon Phanom, Thailand, where the Mekong forms a serene natural border with Laos. Ride along quiet riverside roads to Mukdahan, Khemmarat, and Khong Chiam, discovering the tranquil charm of small Thai communities. Cross into southern Laos to reach Pakse and the magical 4000 Islands, where fishermen, monks, and farmers live in harmony with the water.
From there, journey into Cambodia, cycling through remote landscapes toward Stung Treng, Kratie, and Kampong Cham, where river life unfolds in stilted villages and markets.
