Welcome to Thailand! Upon arrival in Bangkok, our Vietnam Adventure Cycling Crew will meet you at the Rembrandt Sukhumvit Hotel (22 Sukhumvit 20 Alley, Khlong Toei). We've arranged accommodations here for the group, so you can settle in and get comfortable. In the afternoon, we’ll gather for a bike fitting session to ensure everything’s perfectly adjusted for the days ahead. Afterward, you'll have some time to relax and unwind in your room.
In the evening, we’ll meet up again and take a short walk to AMOK, one of Bangkok’s top-rated Thai restaurants, where you’ll enjoy a warm welcome dinner with the team. During the meal, your guide will give a brief overview of our upcoming cycling adventure.

From here, the landscape begins to transform, and soon you’ll witness one of southern Thailand’s most breathtaking natural wonders—towering limestone karsts that rise dramatically from the earth like ancient sentinels. Formed over 260 million years ago, these formations were once part of a vast prehistoric reef that stretched as far as modern-day Vietnam. With peaks soaring up to a kilometer high, they’ll be your striking backdrop for the next few days.
In the afternoon, we’ll hop on our bikes and begin our ride—60 km of scenic cycling through a lush sea of greenery as we head west toward the stunning Ratchaprapha Dam. Often called the inland twin of Phang Nga Bay, this freshwater reservoir is scattered with hundreds of tiny limestone islands jutting from the emerald water.

The effort is well worth it as a thrilling downhill follows, opening into a long stretch of smooth, flat roads perfect for cruising. Our route leads us straight to Alor Setar, the vibrant capital of Kedah State, known for its Central State Administration Centre and as the birthplace of two of Malaysia’s prime ministers.

Our ride finishes in the peaceful town of Kuala Kubu Bharu — a charming place with rich Chinese heritage and stunning views of the surrounding hills.

Gentle Ride & Farewell Moments – Final Cycling Day to Johor Bahru 🚴♂️🌴
Our last day on two wheels begins with an easy ride from the hotel, following a wide, smooth main road for several kilometers. Soon, we’ll turn onto quiet country lanes, winding through typical Malaysian palm plantations that stretch as far as the eye can see—an ideal setting to relax and soak in the peaceful rural atmosphere. Midday brings a delicious local lunch, offering a final taste of authentic regional flavors before we pack up our bikes and board the bus. A comfortable transfer awaits, taking us to our elegant hotel in Johor Bahru, where you can unwind and reflect on the journey. The day concludes with a special farewell dinner, celebrating the memories and friendships made along the way.
